Court of Common Pleas: the National Archives, Cp40 1399-1500

The records of this central common law court for the fifteenth century; records held by The National Archives with the class of CP40. Hitherto unpublished, the database was first produced as part of the AHRC-funded 'Londoners and the Law' project (AHRC AR119247). It was further augmented by the 'London women and the economy before and after the Black Death' project (ESRC RES-00-22-3343) and with funding from the Marc Fitch Fund.

The Fortunoff Archive currently holds more than 4,400 testimonies, which are comprised of over 12,000 recorded hours of videotape. Testimonies were produced in cooperation with thirty-six affiliated projects across North America, South America, Europe, and Israel. The Fortunoff Archive and its affiliates recorded the testimonies of willing individuals with first-hand experience of the Nazi persecutions, including those who were in hiding, survivors, bystanders, resistants, and liberators. Testimonies were recorded in whatever language the witness preferred, and range in length from 30 minutes to over 40 hours (recorded over several sessions).

Middle East Online: Arab-Israeli Relations, 1917-1970
Arab-Israeli Relations 1917-1970 offers the widest range of original source material from the Foreign Office, Colonial Office, War Office and Cabinet Papers from the 1917 Balfour Declaration through to the Black September war of 1970-1.137,000 pages of source documents.
The documents are predominantly in English, but the database contains files in 14 languages.
Here mayor policy statements are set out in their fullest context, following the creation of the State of Israel in 1948, British diplomacy towards Israel and the Arab States.
The Database also contains British Mandate legislation relavant to Israeli law.

The Statutes of the Realm is an authoritative collection of Acts of the Parliament of England from the earliest times to the Union of the Parliaments in 1707, and Acts of the Parliament of Great Britain passed up to the death of Queen Anne in 1714. It was published between 1810 and 1825 by the Record Commission as a series of 9 volumes, with volume IV split into two separately bound parts, together with volumes containing an Alphabetical Index and a Chronological Index.
